Make a Difference Awards and Dance Party

Loukoumi Foundation Make a Difference Awards and Dance Party is an annual fundraiser to support our ongoing programs, projects and partnerships while we celebrate children and young adult participants making a difference in their lives and the lives of others. At the Make A Difference Award and Dance Party we honor those heroes who inspire us to good deeds every day. The event also presents an Inspiration Award each year to an outstanding role model for children to follow. Past Award recipients include Owner/Chairman of the Los Angeles Chargers Dean Spanos, His Eminence Cardinal Timothy Dolan, WOHASU founder and producer of the World Happiness Summit Karen Guggenheim, Michael Psaros, James Orphanides, Rev. Nicholas Anctil, TEGNA and Gloria Gaynor. On June 1, 2023, the Loukoumi Make A Difference Awards will once again be in person at the Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester, NY and virtually around the world.

Loukoumi Foundation Golf OUting hosted by daniela fogliano

Thank you to Loukoumi Kids Club Board Member Daniela Fogliano for hosting our inaugural Loukoumi Foundation Golf Outing at the Leewood Golf Club August 8, 2023. Proceeds from the outing were raised for the Loukoumi Foundation Treatment Room at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Loukoumi Foundation Programming at the San Carpoforo School in Lake Como, Italy.

Mediterranean Tasting

In support of Loukoumi Feeds the Hungry initiative, celebrity Chef Maria Loi and friends present a variety of healthy and delicious Mediterranean foods and wines while guests peruse exciting silent auction items and meet some of the more than 100,000 children who have made a difference in their own lives and the lives of others through our programs and partnerships.

Loukoumi Theatre nightS on Broadway

Loukoumi Foundation Theatre Nights fund our ongoing programs, partnerships and variety of other organizations which share our mission. Past Theater Nights include events with the cast and crew of Present Laughter (pictured left Tony and Oscar winner Kevin Kline receives the Loukoumi Make A Difference Award), Rock of Ages, Bulldozer, Dangerous Liaisons, and Come From Away.  The recent Come From Away Theater Night featured Eastchester School District students, who collected letters for families who lost loved ones on 9-11 and they also presented a check for over $1,000 to the charity Broadway Cares.

Good Deeds at the Museum

The Loukoumi Foundation hosts monthly programming in its Make A Difference with Loukoumi exhibit space at the Westchester Children's Museum.
