COME FROM AWAY

What an emotional and inspiring evening! The Loukoumi Make A Difference Foundation held its Broadway event with the Tony Award winning musical Come From Away to announce our new collaboration as together we will be publishing the book "Inspiring Stories That Make A Difference," a collection of essays from 50 children around the world. 60 guests attended the performance and each and every one of them was truly touched by this very special story of kindness that transpired when over 7,000 airline passengers were diverted to Newfoundland during 9-11. Thank you to the cast, producers and stage managers for the amazing, honest and inspiring post-show Q&A. Immediately following, the Anne Hutchinson School presented a large box of cards that they made for the 9-11 Tribute Museum for families who lost loved ones on 9-11 as well as over $1,000 in donations they collected for the charity Broadway Cares, and extra special thanks to Judy Abrams for her matching donation and for introducing Loukoumi to this incredible Come From Away family. We are honored and very excited to be working with this amazing group of people. After the theatre the festivities continued at Sardi's Restaurant. Thank you to everyone for attending and making a difference with Loukoumi, and to Jillian Nelson for once again capturing all the wonderful moments through these great photos. It is evenings like these that reinforce exactly what the Loukoumi Make a Difference Foundation is all about!
